
Joseph Masso earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, San Diego in 2015 and his Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law in 2021. He is a recipient of the Wiley W. Manuel Award and is passionate about guiding families through meaningful decisions to protect their legacy and assets.
During law school, Joseph clerked for the Business/Tax Unit of the California Department of Justice, where he gained valuable experience analyzing complex legal and financial issues, insight that now informs his practical, detail‑oriented approach to estate planning.
Joseph is a member of Probate Attorneys of San Diego (PASD) and is actively involved with the North County Estate Planning Council of San Diego.
Before joining his current practice, Joseph worked at a boutique estate planning firm in Carlsbad, where he developed a strong foundation in crafting thorough, personalized estate plans. His approach is grounded in clarity, preparation, and helps clients feel informed and confident throughout the planning process.
A San Diego local, Joseph enjoys spending time with his wife and son, surfing, and playing golf.
